Morning coffee with the World's smallest solenoid valve..The 005 series
I am getting ready to take off to 3 cities for 3 different meetings today. I will be traveling more than 717 miles.
Just wanted to enjoy some coffee this morning at my desk and look at our latest release (pictured bottom right), which is our new inline version of the World's smallest valve series.
Working here for Koganei, I am so amazed with their #engineering capabilities and what they are doing to push the envelope for innovation.
This series has been turning many heads, mostly because people can't believe a valve this small can go up to 102 psi or be used for vacuum pressure.
We would love to work with your team. We specialize in miniaturization. My goal is to improve devices, machines and automated processes with innovations like this.
Have a great Monday everyone!

What will be the damands of 2018
As a manufacturer of 512,000 products, it is clear we make many things. 2018 is bringing change on how we serve.
I am seeing more requests from our distributors and our customers for, "miniaturization." I have been asking on LinkedIn, Twitter if this is actually a real thing.
What I am finding is that companies are seeking to reduce power consumption, physical size, weight. The result for them, means that they can cram more functionality within the same footprint which means more capability than the competition. By being lighter in weight, that allows for more portability. using less power means less energy consumption.
This has been over the last few years an obvious focus in the #medical industry. In 2018 however, we are seeing this demand in #industrial #automation, #manufacturing #automotive #packaging and more. We are pushing the envelope with our own capabilities to meet these new growing demands. For example, we recently released what I believe (as of today) the smallest #valves in the world for both gas and liquid applications
Another change we see, though I think many of us are well aware of, is AI/IIOT. More information, closed loop function, data feedback is the new standard. We are doing what we can for #pneumatic processes by advancing the circuits and compatibility with new protocols as they get released. The added challenge in doing this is to also develop a program that helps the #manufacturer improve downtime with more responsive delivery.
How we are taking that challenge on? We developed what we call the Koganei "Gamechanger" program where, simply we partner with our distributors to take an order, build test and ship a directional control valve manifold as soon as SAME DAY. That is possible though you need to check with our 14 locations across N. America, Canada and Mexico and discuss with them your delivery demands
